Chris is committed to creating collaborative working environments that encourage open and honest communication.  By helping each other and valuing the different experiences of every member of the team he aims to provide a pension scheme experience that is efficient, productive and, dare we say it, fun for all those involved.  And yes, that can include GMP Equalisation!

Chris has 25 years’ experience of helping pension schemes at Aon, LCP and Goddard Perry Actuarial as an actuary and technical expert.  Since arriving at Goddard Perry in October 2022, Chris has driven the application for the QAS (Quality Assurance Scheme) accreditation and become the firm’s expert in the process of moving to buy-in, buyout and wind-up as well as GMP Equalisation and PPF levies.

His enthusiasm for improving pensions systems and providing client-tailored solutions saw him nominated as Chair of the Society of Pension Professionals Actuarial Committee for the designated two-year term.  Chris has also been a representative on the RSA Collective Defined Contribution forum and was part of the industry working group for TAS 300.

Chris graduated from Oxford University having read Mathematical Sciences.

Taking his two boys to golf, football and fencing events takes up much of Chris’s spare time, but he also enjoys fencing, running, paddleboarding and games nights with friends.

Call Chris if you’d like to discuss – Scheme Actuary services, Company pension accounting, GMP Equalisation, moving to buy-in, buyout and wind-up, Collective Defined Contribution schemes, PPF Levy mitigation or Section 75 debts.
